April 28 marks the 16th day of the Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan. The China Pavilion, spanning 3,500 square meters and designed to resemble an ancient Chinese bamboo scroll, played host to a special event that day—the Sichuan Week. As the first province making its debut at the China Pavilion since the opening of the Expo 2025 Osaka, Sichuan, under the theme "The Splendid Bashu Culture, Together For A Better Future", will exhibit the distinctive allure of the "Land of Abundance" to a global audience.

At the launch of the Sichuan Week, cultural performances such as Sichuan Opera face-changing and Kungfu tea art were met with enthusiastic applause. Sichuan's intangible cultural heritage items, such as Shu embroidery, lacquerware, bamboo weaving, and oil-paper umbrellas, as well as IP cultural and creative products featuring giant pandas and golden snub-nosed monkeys, made a stunning appearance. Additionally, captivating videos depicting the Sanxingdui Bronze Sacred Tree and the ancient Dujiangyan irrigation system, as part of the China Pavilion's permanent exhibition, were presented to a global audience, highlighting the resplendent Chinese civilization.

As the "Land of Abundance" flourishes at the World Expo, the Sichuan Week event not only signifies a cultural exchange but also builds a "golden bridge" for economic and trade interactions. During the Sichuan Week, the China Pavilion will showcase Sichuan's advantageous industries, including electronic information and clean energy. Beyond the pavilion, Sichuan will host a series of complementary activities in Osaka City, such as the "China (Sichuan) - Japan Economic and Trade Exchange Conference and Enterprise Dialogue Meeting".
